Established in 1999 and incorporated in 2003, Cassian Consultancy
Services provides Project Management, Property Development & Construction Advice
to a wide range of companies. The prime purpose of the company is to provide project
management services for new build and refurbishment projects, from inception through
to completion, mostly working in the private sector. Secondly, Cassian provides
the whole range of planning, programming and scheduling services, from tender
stage, to active participation throughout the construction process, and if necessary,
concluding in delay analysis and forensic planning.

Brief
Description
This
project comprised six high quality residential 2, 3 and 4 bedroom units for sale;
four townhouses, one duplex apartment and one apartment, arranged in one three
storey block. The site was subject to an enabling demolition contract. The construction
of the building was of traditional masonry construction and included substantial
reduction in site level and introduction of a gabion retaining wall to part of
the site perimeter.
Cassian involvement commenced with the preparation
of various cost plans resulting in a value engineering exercise in order to achieve
best value for the employer. Subsequent to that, Cassian managed the design, prepared
the Employer's Requirements, procured the project on a competitive Design and
Build basis, prepared contract documentation and administered the contract through
to completion.
The project was completed in April 2015.
